NileGuide Expert tip:
If you don't see a combination you love on the menu, build your own. But careful, the toppings are generous.
Description:
With a giant assortment of fries with toppings, crispy fried shrimp and chicken nugget appetizers, and even jalapeƱo poppers, you might not be able to eat your whole burger at Mr. Jack. They're not for the timid, or the waist-watching, these giant, nearly 1/2 pound burgers with very generous toppings on a fresh-baked bun. You won't be surprised when you see most Chileans attack these with a fork and knife.
Among the offerings on the Mr. Jack menu are burgers with toppings such as bleu cheese, serrano ham, green olives, red peppers, pesto, onion rings, cheddar cheese or pretty much anything else you could imagine. Lighter options include a smaller burger, salmon (which they don't always have) and a make-your-own burger where you put on as many or as few toppings as you'd like. There are also cold pita sandwiches which are significantly less substantial.
The aesthetic is 50s diner kitch, with an updated look, and it's located close to the Tobalaba and El Golf metros, though you might want to walk home to help some of your vast meal digest. Don't be surprised if you hear English spoken here, it's a bit hit with English-speaking foreigners.
