Melinka has three locations, one in Bellas Artes and another two down by the Plaza Santa Ana, closer to the PanAmerican highway at Cathedral 1461 and 1501. All three serve slices of cake, many of them multi-layered, with jam, chocolate or manjar (creamy caramel) or creamy toppings as well as kuchenes, which are fruit cakes with struesel-like toppings, and pie de limón, Chile's version of key lime pie. It's cheap and decent, though the coffee is just ok.They also have sandwiches on sliced bread and other offerings, and the hot chocolate is thick and tasty.
