Le Fournil is a classic French café/bistro with a Chilean touch. There are several locations throughout the city, and this one is lively, and often sees families having lunch. There is something for nearly every plate, from fruit salad to elaborate avocado and quinoa timbales with shrimp, large salads, and of course, the Chilean perennial favorite, beef. Savory crepes are also on the menu, as well as a delicious creamy squash soup, and every day sees a different menu ejecutivo or businessman's lunch.The breads at le Fournil are legendary, and people often buy them to go, or take a last snack with them on the plane from the airport location. Sandwiches made on the bread, such as the goat cheese wtih azapa (similar to kalamata) olives are also delicious.
Desserts are a mix of French and Chilean tastes, they serve afternoon tea, and use Segafreddo coffee.
