This restaurant and watering hole above the elegant restaurant Opera on the corner of Merced and Jose Miguel de la Barra in Santiago's Bellas Artes restaurant is a great place for an after-work happy hour, to listen to live music, or just have quiet conversation with friends. The interior is open and minimalistic, with tables and chairs and a few seating options that mimic a modern living room. There's a rooftop terrace that is heated somewhat in winter, and comfortable all eyar round. The food is Chilean and Asian-influence, and many people choose the "crudo" or steak tartare appetizer. It's busy at night, and especially so at the end of the month when Chileans draw their monthly salary, so plan accordingly so you can see and be seen.
