A lovely, French-influenced boutique hotel in Santiago's pretty, leafy Providencia district. This hotel is high on charm, with a friendly staff that is knowlegeable about the area. The facade is clean and bright, with a mansard roof, and the lobby is den-like, with oriental rugs and straightbacked, upholstered chairs with a view into an interior garden. It's in a renovated mansion, and has comfortable spaces for reading and relaxation.
Rooms vary in size, with the kings being the largest, and singles being quite small. Rooms in the back are quieter than those on the street, though if you're used to living in a city, neither is particularly loud. Reservations are advisable at peak times, and wifi is free in the rooms.
