Santiago is a city with a surprising amount of greenery in certain areas. And in the heat of the summer, it's a welcome reprieve from the bustle to just have a seat and eat some ice cream, or pack a lunch to take with you to the park. And you won't be alone, most notably on the weekends when the parks and green spaces fill with families watching kids cavort and puppies play while they drink from their giant bottles of soda and eat either what they've brought or what they've got on the grill. Get out and enjoy!
