Santiago is perfect for hand-in-hand walks in some of the older neighborhoods, sweeping vistas of the city from atop its two iconic hills, or sitting in the shade of the botanic garden. Many romantic restaurants dot the city as well, and romantic wine tours though some of Chile's prettiest vineyards are just an hour or so away in the nearby Colchagua valley, or even closer, practically within the city limits. For even more hedonism, choose hotsprings, or for the athletically-inclined, a great day on the slopes, finishing it off with some top-notch theater at one of Santiago's great theatrical venues.
