Lacking the infrastructure of a big city, Santander gets and grows most of their foods and ingredients locally with very little turn over and very little room for disappointment. Beef comes from the local farms, salmon from the streams and all the seafood you can imagine coming right from the sea itself. This is of course without mentioning the culinary prowess that's made this part of the world famous. Tapas are the pre-dining prep for the main course, and they are sure to not disappoint, especially if flanked with one of Spain's many fine wines. Needless to say, Santander is a great gastronomic experience and one to definitely….savor.
