History Attractions in Santa Fe

Number 5 on our list is San Miguel Mission, the oldest existing church in the U.S., being built in 1610. Down the street is Loretto Chapel, built in the 1870s, and famous for its "miraculous staircase." Around the corner is the Gothic St. Francis Cathedral, built in the 1880s.
We end our list with the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, dedicated to the artist whose love of New Mexico put us on the international art-scene map. She counted many important luminaries of the 20th-century as friends, and their contributions to New Mexico's artist legacy are honored here as well.
