Providing hands-on, detailed instruction to sailors of all levels, including complete novices, is Pacific Yachting and Sailing's passion. Take a course in Basic Sailing and Seamanship, which provides the foundation for becoming the skipper of a seafaring vessel. For those with previous sailing experience, Pacific Yachting and Sailing offers refresher courses and more advanced material.Private instruction is available as well as group courses, such as Women's Classes.
Sailing is one of the bread-and-butter activities in Santa Cruz, making the area one of the best places in California to learn to sail. Pacific Yachting and Sailing offers weekend courses and six- or eight- day courses, providing a comprehensive introduction/instruction in sailing.
Chartered tours are available for groups of six or less. Captained by one of the company's experienced and licensed instructors, guests can tour the Monterey Bay in a beautiful yacht. For those with the proper qualifications, Pacific Yachting and Sailing will book boats for private, un-skippered use.
