The Taco Bar at El Palomar is a convenient alternative way to grab tasty tacos and bulging burritos without doing the whole sit-down-and-dine-thing. Just saddle up to the counter, choose from a selectively short menu, and grab your chips and salsa, with hopes that you'll be able to grab a table in this oft-crowded eatery. A fully stocked bar is ready to make margaritas or any other drink you desire. From 5pm to 9pm Mondays through Thursdays, it's happy hour, meaning $2 draft beers, $2 chicken, carne asada, and veggie tacos, and $3 burritos with the same fillings. Though it's more expensive, the prawn burrito is tangy, fresh, and very filling. Listen closely for your order number because the staff here is quick and moves through the orders lightening quick.
