The Impossible team, led by its gregarious and energetic host Robert Irvine, descended upon the fledging restaurant, which was barely staying afloat in tough economic times. After a complete redesign, including the installation of a room-length bar where pastry cases once stood, Hoffman's is almost unrecognizable from the restaurant it once was.
The menu underwent a complete reboot as well. Now the family-owned joint serves up thick cuts of pork loin, heaping cheese offerings, halibut cheeks with Brie, risotto, and, as any good bakery should, decadent desserts. The Chef's Cheesecake is arguably the best in town, if not the entire Central Coast.
As host Irvine would say, Hoffman's Bistro has a new menu, new look, and a new attitude that all point toward customer satisfaction and their restaurant getting packed every night of the week.
