San Francisco is a hotbed of major architectural landmarks. From historic Victorian mansions to shiny glass and steel skyscrapers, the city's skyline is rapidly changing and the next decade will transform it even more so. A bounty of current projects are on deck including the new Transbay Terminal, which will reshape the downtown skyline, and the new Bay Bridge suspension tower, which will replace the rickety eastern section that collapsed in the 1989 earthquake.
