Tucked beneath Kapuzinerberg's steep cliff, just outside the busy tourist streets of the Neustadt (Right Bank), Die Weisse is a bierstub'n worth seeking out. Extremely popular among Salzburgers for its relaxed atmosphere, its pleasant beer garden and its large selection of draft and bottled beers, Die Weisse has the feel of a real neighbourhood pub. It's is also very welcoming of visitors to Salzburg. In sunny weather, its garden is a very pleasant place to while away a few hours; after hours or during cold weather, its informal interior is cosy and comfortable. Wines by the glass are also available. The kitchen offers a variety of delicious and authentic Austrian favourites with generous servings.
