Description:
East High School is located on the far east side of Salt Lake City (hence the name), this school's claim to fame is its use as the setting for Disney's hit movies High School Musical I, II, and III. Opened in 1914, East High is one of the oldest high schools in Utah. East High has excelled both academically and athletically, winning over 65 State Championships in its history. For those familiar with the phenomenon of High School Musical, it won't be surprising to know that the school mascot at East is, of course, the Wildcat.
