Great Salt Lake & Outside the City
If you have several days to visit Salt Lake City, there are plenty of fascinating sights outside the city limits. Visit the Timpanogos Cave in American Fork Canyon or view the Great Salt Lake from Antelope Island. For skiers, Snowbasin Ski Resort is located just 33 miles northeast of Salt Lake City and Sundance Resort is 34 miles southeast of downtown.
