And right they were. Today its 88 groomed runs, 6 lifts, and 2,919 feet/ 880 meters of vertical drop represent 1,685 skiable acres spread over two mountain faces. Guests can Alpine or Nordic ski or snowboard, heliski or enjoy an escape in a backcountry tour in the Monashee Mountains. Close to Rossland, B.C., it's a convenient stop from Washington, Idaho or other resorts in the Canadian Rockies such as Fernie, about 4 hours away.
