One of the most popular nightclubs in Rome is Gilda. The discoteca gets its name from Rita Hayworths's famous movie role, Gilda. It's famous for attracting Rome's per bene crowd from Italian footballers from the AS Rome and SS Lazio teams, politicians and D-list Italian starlettes. There is also a sleek piano bar inside where private parties are often held. The club also has two dance floors. Jackets are strictly enforced for men.
