The modern suburb of Barra da Tijuca has been dubbed 'the United States of Barra' by many Rio locals, so it's somewhat fitting that this is the place to find dishes from across North America. Forget fast food though – much love is put into the interesting dishes on the menu here. As the name suggests, the emphasis is on dishes from Lousiana, New Orleans, and the Creole and Cajun dishes are the stars of the menu. Jazz music sets the mood nicely, and while black and white images of New Orleans line the walls. If you like your food nice and spicy, this is a good place to come.
