With such a lack of sun exposure in the wintertime, the Icelandic people tend to go a bit overboard in the summer when the sun stays out for...basically all night, but that's what makes this corner of the world so fun! Some of the locals won't even go out till 2 a.m., waiting for the sun to get low enough on the horizon and change the mood a bit. Of course, once you get there, you're greeted with, none else than an ice bar. Fitting. For the non-drinking crowd, Iceland is full of history and geological wonders that are chronicled in Reykjavik's many museums, so go out and enjoy a night on the town. We guarantee it'll be like nothing you've done before.
