Family Hotels in Reno
Casino-hotels dominate the downtown Reno area, but that doesn't mean that the kids can't have a good time too. Reno resorts are happy to oblige the little ones.
The top pick for the kids is the Circus Circus in downtown. With their daily circus acts and the Midway, they can play all day. Other downtown casino hotels like the Silver Legacy and the Eldorado are also fun for kids with their arcades and easy indoor access to both hotels. The Grand Sierra Resort, just outside of downtown is also great for kids with their FunQuest arcade, miniature golf, extreme rides, go-karts and outdoor pool. The kids can get some more arcade and pool fun at Boomtown in Verdi and the Peppermill in South Reno as well.
For a few places outside of the city, you can stay at the (supposedly haunted) Gold Hill Hotel, or the C rooked House Bed & Breakfast in Virginia City. For a little communing with nature, take the kids to the Deer Run Ranch B&B for the views and the friendly deer.
