While Reno is smaller than its sister city in the south, it still has many casinos resorts to choose from for slots, table games, high stakes competitions, sports books and friendly service.
Starting downtown, the big boys in the area are the
Silver Legacy with its towering hotel towers, the
Eldorado with its enthusiastic table games and great restaurants,
Harrah's Casino which has been around for decades and the kid friendly
Circus Circus with its circus themed games and shows for children and a floor of slots for the adults.
In the south part of the city there are two very popular casinos that are growing every year: the
Peppermill with its Italian decor and the
Atlantis with its fountains, waterfalls and neon lights. You can also find some action in Sparks beginning with the classic
John Ascuaga's Nugget with its excellent casino, hotel and restaurants.
For some choices just outside of the downtown area, try some local's favorites: the
Bonanza in North Reno which has some great food, the
Rail City Casino in Victorian Square in downtown Sparks or the
Boomtown Hotel and Casino in Verdi which has a fun center for the kids.
