Description:
Porto Buzios is the seafood restaurant at Plaza Nautico. Excellent sea food, but rather expensive, and the wait staff can be quite slow when it's busy, even if they have several people just standing around. Loud American rock music is always playing, making it difficult to have a conversation. The salmon with langostina sauce is very good and they do an excellent presentation with their molacajete. For newcomers, molacajete is equivalent to a US version of fajita fixings but presented in a black stone mortar bowl. Porto Buzios has its own bar while the other restaurants in the complex share one bar. They have a good wine offering and many beer labels. Their complimentary smoked tuna spread served with home-made breads and tortilla chips is delicious. Their dessert trays are very nice, but similar to most other restaurants in the area. The raspberry and chocolate covered cheesecake are both good.
