What more romantic than a little slice of Europe in North America? That's exactly what the restaurants of Quebec City have to offer. One of our all-time favorite spots for a dazzling evening with that special someone is L'Astral, which offers spectacular panoramic views of the Plains of Abraham and the Laurentian Mountains
Our second choice, Laurie Raphaël, is a no-brainer when it comes to romantic restaurants. Owners Daniel Vézina and Suzanne Gagnon named this popular and upscale restaurant after their two children. If you don't mind a little travel time, check out La Auberge Camarine, located near Mont Ste-Anne, about a half hour east of Quebec City. This restaurant offers some of the finest French and French-Canadian cuisine in the region, and is well worth the trek.
Another favorite is Initiale. It's not just one of the elite restaurants of Québec City, but one of the best in the entire province. The palatial setting of tall windows, columns, and a deeply recessed ceiling will certainly put you in the mood. These romantic restaurants of Quebec City offer a taste of the city that you just can't miss.
