Description:
Punta Uva, or Grape Point, is the Caribbean's ruby in the rough, a spectacular beach framed by dense green jungle, white sand and turquoise water. Punta Uva has been a blue-ribbon wiiner of eco-logical awards in Costa Rica and noted as one of the world's most beautiful beaches by many tour guides. It has golden and white sand beaches, and is divided into two parts by a rocky peak, which hides a secluded cove from which to overlook a natural water cave. The waters of Punta Uva's beaches are calm due to the protection from the rocky peak, and the sand is soft save for a few patches of coral reef, which account for some of the best snorkeling and diving in the entire region.
