Description:
Bread & Chocolate is a cute little cafe that is great for American style breakfasts, good coffee served in a French press, and yes chocolate- truffles, cakes, brownies- it's all good. From pancakes to jerk-chicken sandwiches and peanut butter and jelly on homemade wheat bread, Bread and Chocolate has something for everyone. It's a cozy spot in the center of Puerto Viejo, off of the main road tucked behind some greenery, with rustic wood tables and chairs on a covered wood deck. It tends to be bustling, sometimes crowded, but the customer service is great and the prices are fair and affordable.
