If you like viewing art and learning about new artists, you shouldn't miss the weekly art walks that take place in Puerto Vallarta's histortic Centro district. You can grab the map off the website or any of the participating galleries. The art walk takes place every Wednesday night from 6-10pm (November-May), with each gallery holding an open house, frequently serving wine and canapes. Be sure to check the website for exact dates and participating galleries as these change each year.The art walk is a great way to discover new artists and to get to know the neighborhood near the Malecon.
