The rooms are in the basic style of a typical Mexican hotel with tile throughout and simple, functional furniture. The older building (where the restaurant) surrounds one of the swimming pools. There is also a bar and karaoke in this building. The combination can make for a noisy night. This building also has more "wear and tear" noticeable in the rooms.
The newer complex sits away from the street, bar and restaurant, and would be preferred for a quieter stay. This hotel is popular for large groups and buses from other parts of Mexico. They do have non-smoking rooms and they offer Internet access.
The on-site restaurant, Aladino's is popular and will often have local business people enjoying breakfast in the mid morning. They offer a good selection of Mexican favorites. Aladino's Restaurant is open from 7 am until 11 pm. There is also a fun karaoke bar if you enjoy that sort of thing! Most of the song choices are in Spanish. However, if you want you can sing along in English!
The up side: They offer specials which make it a good budget-conscious choice. The restaurant is very good.
The down side: This is a well-worn property. The location is away from the sea.
