Description:

Termas Geometricas, formerly known as Termas de Cajón Negro are set of thermal baths set into a narrow misty canyon, with waterfalls and small changing huts with ferns and grasses growing on top. It has 16 slate-lined warm-to-hot pools of different temperatures, and two cool pools for those who like to switch back-and forth.

Due to its setting in the narrow gorge, the baths are characterized by rising steam and hanging droplets of water on the surrounding plants. Orange-painted raised walkways connect the pools, and the occasional minimalist Japanese-style chair can also be found. Towels are fluffy, and there is an open fire to warm your hands around as you eat in the informal restaurant where simple meals are served.

Termas Geometricas are located 57 km from Villarica and 90 km from Pucón on mostly gravel roads.
