Fun is Prague's middle name! Well, that might be an exaggeration for a city known for its history and culture. But there's a plethora of good stuff to see and do - and with a year round active events calendar, something amusing is practically guaranteed to be happening when you are in town.
Where to begin? Prague Zoo is world class - and not just for kids. All animal lovers will appreciate the spacious enclosures and unique animals on display. Those looking for other outdoor pursuits should spend a day outside of Prague in Pruhonice Park. If your outdoor activity level peaks at beer drinking, Reigrovy sady with its excellent beer garden (but also super views and good children's area) is for you.
Sports fans will want to hit Generali Arena to watch local football (soccer) team Sparta Praha play. If all this Czech stuff has got you craving something completely opposite, head out to Sapa for a taste of Vietnam in Prague. Back in town, gaze at the graffiti covering the John Lennon Peace Wall.
Any visit to Prague would not be complete without a visit to Old Town Hall and a viewing of the Astronomical Clock at the top of the hour. For two wacky activities to round out your stay; explore the horror of the Museum of Medieval Torture Instruments and check yourself out 3 feet taller, or wider in the Mirror Maze.
