One of the ultimate cheapo places is Country Life a cafeteria style vegetarian restaurant that prices their food by weight. Bohemia Bagel is one of the best breakfast restaurants in town, but they also serve sandwiches, salads and desserts for all day noshing. Free coffee and soft drink refills.
A bit farther out are two super ethnic restaurants with great food - Manni Pakistani Restaurant in Prague 3 and Siam Orchid Thai Cuisine. Also in Prague 3 is a great pub, U Sadu. If you are feeling adventurous a wander around the pubs and restaurants in this area can be a great cultural experience.
