First things first: Don't call them nightclubs in Prague. You'll probably be sent to a place with over-priced drinks and scantily clad women. Simply ask for a recommendation for a great club in Prague, with dancing or DJs or live music, or whatever your mood. Now that the semantics lesson is over; Prague does have a good nightlife scene with lots to offer. DJS spin nightly all around town, but of course the best nights are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Be prepared for lots of 80s and 90s stuff...
For good tunes with good looking people; hit Klub Kostel, one of the newest clubs in town or Club SaSaZu. Klub Kostel is located in a former church and offers a sleek atmosphere, and surprisingly tasty bar food. SaSaZu is one of the biggest clubs in towns and does a mix of DJs and live acts. If you just want to dance, head to Roxy or Mecca, both oldies but goodies. Radost F/X's club is in the basement and does lots of fun theme nights. Palac Akropolis is still one of the premiere nightlife venues in Prague, be sure to check their schedule online to see what's happening when you are in town.
For some slightly touristy spots, head to Karlovy Lazne, which offers four differing floors of entertainment and Lavka – pricy, with a very international crowd.
