Prague has put good effort into attracting gay tourists; including designing a Gay Prague map that includes not only the typical must-sees like Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, but also a recommended list of hotels, bars, clubs, cafes and saunas that are gay-friendly. There are also a number of travel agencies specializing in gay Prague and offering sightseeing tours and other outings. Here's a short list of recommended gay nightlife hotspots.
First, where to stay? Rainbow Inn and Prague's Rainbow Guest House are both good choices. The Guest House is located just down the hill from Vinohrady, the neighborhood which holds many gay clubs. Rainbow Inn offers balconies on every room and a summer terrace. With a metro line nearby, you are in the center in no time.
Let's go out! The best clubbing can probably be found at Fenoman Club, which is also open till really early - 9am! Club Valentino is an oldie but a goody while nearby Club Termix is small and intimate with no cover charge. Aqua Club 2000 is both gay and lesbian friendly and offers an eclectic mix of people and activities. Tingl Tangl offers hilarious cabaret shows and Radost F/X, while not strictly gay, does offer some gay friendly theme nights.
Need a more laidback evening? The also lesbian friendly Jampa Dampa is a good place to meet people, while Saints Bar is the gay Prague experts. Besides offering a cool bar, they also can assist with tips, accommodation and tours.
