Description:
Edaville railroad is a child's play-land. Located south of Boston, in Carver, MA, it is home to many vintage amusement rides (a big hit with the young kids) including a real steam train.
Christmas is extra special at Edaville when the Festival of Lights is in operation. A ride around the grounds shows a lights display like no other, whether on the basic steam train or the often sold-out Polar Express. Kids love running around and interacting with the displays, wher they literally can walk right up to all but touch the lights.
Other events happening throughout the year include, "Day Out With Thomas" for kids who love the storybook character Thomas the Train. Edaville also hosts the National Cranberry Festival, complete with a train ride to see the cranberry harvest in the fall.
