This restaurant is located at the hotel La Tortuga. It features a dining area that opens up onto 10th Avenue which is great for lunch, and a courtyard setting that's has a romantic garden for dinner. The chef, Jorge - originally from Veracruz but internationally trained - blends Mexican flavors with heavy Italian and Mediterranean influences. His salads are divine - try the pear and gorgonzola - and the soup of the day is always a great starter. One of the main highlights here is definitely the wine list. They also have an excellent selection of tequilas, and they serve refreshing tropical juices. The local upper class frequent this restaurant as well as many tourists who return annually. The staff provides individual attention and service is excellent.
