Description:
The Simon Cabaret Show is Phuket's number one nighttime cabaret. All the performers are "ladyboys" (transvestites), who act and dance on stage twice daily, at 7:45 pm and 9:30 pm. While the performances are well-choreographed and stunningly set, the performers don't sing live. Instead, they lip-synch popular songs in English, Japanese, Korea and Thai. The costumes are flashy but elegant and the sound and lighting systems are state of the art. Try to get a table near the stage to truly experience the magic of the show. Don't expect a highly-sophisticated show –This is more Broadway than high-end opera.
