Description:
The Royal Phuket Marina is a great place to peek at luxury yachts and see how the rich live. It's also a good starting point for boating tours of Phi Phi and Krabi, as well as the surrounding waters. But there's much more to the marina than just boats. Some of the finest restaurants in Phuket are located right on the dock or overlooking the water. The marina is also a great place to shop for Thai crafts, trendy beach wear and imported goods. The marina's event and exhibition center is the only one of its kind in Phuket –It features trade shows, live concerts and auto and motorcycle exhibits. A walk on the marina's boardwalk is a favorite pastime for the locals and a great opportunity to spot celebrities. Everybody from Paula Abdul to Naomi Campbell have been seen walking the area.
