Description:
White water rafting is a relatively new activity in Phuket, so you'll need to hire a tour or guide in order to access the best sites. Although it's possible to get wet all year long, the best times are between June to November, when the heavy rains make the rivers a bit faster and wilder. Because the white-water sections of the rivers are not that long, most companies include other activities in a day-long tour. So even if you're booking a white-water rafting tour, expect to try elephant treks, waterfall swimming and ATV rides throughout the day.
