This two-in-one attraction is a great place to spend a whole day, no matter how old the kids (or you) are. The butterfly farm's first objective is conservation, followed by education. The setup works like magic. Visitors can see the butterflies at different stages in their lives. Some are in full-blown colors, while others are still in larvae stage. The farm releases over 10,000 into the wild every year, many of which are endangered species. There's an additional exhibit on insects that include spiders, giant millipedes and scorpions, as well as a silk museum. Special programs and activities for children are available throughout the year, but check their calendar in advance if you're hoping to participate in one –Many require advanced registration.
