There aren't any food stands once you get inside the sanctuary and past the visitors' center. Bring water and snacks with you if you plan on hiking around for more than an hour.
Description:
The Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Sanctuary is located about 12 miles north of Phuket town and is home to a large number of protected species, including langurs, gibbons, barking deer, the red-billed malkoha, and many species of birds. This is Phuket's only area of tropical rainforest that remains completely unspoiled. Besides the wild animals, the Bang Pae and Ton Sai waterfalls also attract plenty of visitors. You can hike all the way up to the top of the waterfalls, although this can be a bit difficult during the rainy season, when the heavy rains turn the hills slippery.
