Ka Jok See is a restaurant that turns into a bar that turns into a disco as the night progresses. This is an upscale place with a romantic atmosphere, best suited for couples or a group of friends. If you have children or are looking for a wild night out, this is not the place to go to (although the waiters have been known to dance with the patrons on the aisles). Wooden beams, rich fabrics and old Thai décor all contribute to the charm of the place. Ka Jok See has been featured in top magazines and newspapers around the world, including Conde Nast Traveler, and attracts plenty of patrons at any time of the year. If you want to make sure you get in, make a reservation. Despite its great reputation, the menu is quite small and standard Thai fare. In the end, come for the atmosphere, not the food.
