Though karaoke is not as popular In Thailand as it is in other Asian countries, singing opportunities still abound. Bale offers 19 private, well-set karaoke rooms with great acoustics. Here you can chill with your friends on comfy couches and sing to your heart's content. Feeling brave? You can also sing karaoke in the main room, where strangers are free to boo you (or applaud you). Bale is also a restaurant and bar, where you can try Thai dishes or sample local Phuket specialties such as Gaeng Tai-Pla, a spicy fish curry, or Ow Taw, traditional southern fried oysters. Don't expect fancy décor here. In fact, the whole place has more of a "backyard" feel and most of the patrons are on the young side. The bar is only open at night and drinks are optional (though the prices are low, so you might as well try one of their cocktails).
