Feeling artsy? Or simply want to have coffee somewhere "different"? @9 certainly fits that description. For starters, @9 doesn't have an actual door, so they technically never close. They might be empty at 5 am, but if you happen to wander by and want a cup of coffee or a beer, they'll serve it to you. @9 is also an art gallery and a guesthouse. Paintings and drawings hang everywhere (some are for sale, but most are on loan and just for show) and the owner himself is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts of Chulalongkorn University. The rooms are very basic but very charming, consisting of a mattress on top of two tatami mats and giant windows that open onto Rommanee street. @9 is a very small café with just a few tables, so don't expect things to get too crazy, even in the late night hours.
