Perth is a city chock-full of fun things to do, whether you like betting on the horses or at the casino, cycling round an island, swimming with dolphins or shopping for colourful crafts and local foods. Perth's favourite fun spot is Adventure World, the amusement park full of fun rides for young and old alike, and a long-time favourite for Perth locals and visitors.
If fun for you is the chance to win a few dollars and have a night of excitement, head to Gloucestor Park for the harness horse racing and a great atmosphere, or to the Burswood Casino for an evening of blackjack, poker or whatever game takes your fancy. If you win some money, you can take it shopping at two of Fremantle's colourful weekend markets, the historic Fremantle Markets or the trendy E Shed Markets. As well as seeing arts and crafts, local food and numerous other products, you'll meet some of Perth's most fascinating characters.
For some physical fun, hire a bike from the Rottnest Island Bike Hire shop and circumnavigate the island, stopping at one of Rotto's dozens of beaches for some snorkelling; alternatively you can swim with wild dolphins just south of Perth using the Rockingham Wild Encounters crew. And since fun activities in Perth are often associated with the water, you can't go past a trip to the beach - Scarborough Beach probably has the most regular action, but Cottesloe Beach is a very popular spot too.
