Wasatch Mountain State Park is most well-known for its two separate golf courses - reputed for being among Utah's most scenic and affordable. However, the state park offers multiple alternative activities in any season. During winter, you can snowmobile, cross-country ski, and snowshoe; in summer, you can horseback ride, mountain bike ride, hike, and camp. With 22,000 acres of open space, this park provides plenty of space for all user groups. Nestled against the mountains surrounding Heber Valley, it provides a scenic area in which to recreate without requiring a long drive into the Wasatch Mountains. A visitor center stands in the northern portion of the park.
