Strawberry Reservoir occupies a beautiful corner of the Uinta and Ouray Reservation in Wasatch County. Utah's most popular fishery, this lake offers cool respite from Utah's summer heat. With an elevation of roughly 7,600 feet above sea level, this lake contains more than 12,000 acres of surface area. Visitors to Strawberry Reservoir enjoy fishing cutthroat and rainbow trout, as well as kokanee salmon - with many people catching fish in excess of 24 inches on a fairly regular basis. Fishing is most commonly done from a boat; Strawberry Reservoir has boat ramps at four developed marinas. These are the Renegade, Strawberry Bay, Soldier Creek, and Aspen marinas.
