One of the newer Paris hammams, this chic "spa-boutique" opened in 2008. It provides a contemporary route to Morocco in Paris, with treatments that combine tradition with modern techniques. The theme is echoed in the décor. Its beauty and massage rooms are covered in mosaic and have stone washbasins, while the Moroccan baths have flower petals and scented candles. it offers facial and body treatments with naturally based produced products, such as the de-stressing North African rose and flower petal bath, which can be enjoyed solo or as a couple. There is also a couples option for massages. Among the more unusual offerings is henna tattooing for hands and feet. These temporary designs, which gradually wear off after repeated washings, were once thought to protect against the evil eye. Also special to Le Comptoir Paris Marrakech are its rituals, packages of treatments for ones or twos.
