Churches, huge concert halls, and the local pub all play host to music performances at different times throughout the week.
One of the most uniquely Parisian experiences is the live music cafe, where a cozy cafe opens its doors at night to a traditional band playing with accordions and all. Bastille is one of the most trendy spots to see and be seen, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants around here as well if you want to make a night of it. There are also some more unique spectacles, such as the improvisational circus-like performances and shows that take place behind Notre Dame and along the Seine after dark.
