J. Michael's restaurant is a Florida fish house style restaurant in Panama City Beach and a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The restaurant is easy to find and offer indoor and outdoor dining. When walking in to J. Michaels, you will notice the decor that celebrates the area and culture of Panama City Beach. Once you enter, it feel as if you are walking into a family member's home for a meal. Look around at the dollar bills posted around the entire establishment and you can picture all of the good times that have taken place in J. Michael's. The menu is diverse and the food is very good. The daily specials drive locals in for lunch and part of the allure of J. Michael's is watching your fresh Apalachicola oysters being hand shucked right before your eyes. Another favorite is the red beans and rice. J. Michael's has truly perfected the recipe and has been serving it since 1976. If you need a break from the large crowds that can, at times, swamp some of the beachfront restaurants, J. Micheal's is a highly recommended option.
