Palm Springs is an enclave of fabulous shopping, El Paseo Drive is known as the Rodeo Drive of the desert, great golf getaways at courses like the PGA West Resort, and family friendly fun at Knotts Soak City. Just don't zip through too fast; take in the surroundings with a trip up Mount San Jacinto's Aerial tramway.
